UE5 Environment artist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Create worlds and environments
  • Build locations with an eye for composition and details
  • Maintains consistent style under the direction of the Art Director and Lead Environment Artist
  • Works closely with level designers, art directors, sculpting and texturing team to achieve high-quality outputs,
  • Other duties may be assigned


  • 3+ years professional experience with Unreal Engine 5
  • Advanced understanding of level design principles
  • Modifying existing assets in external 3d packages to fit your needs (bending, twisting , damage etc.)
  • Tweaking and uniforming material properties
  • Checking collision settings
  • Basic knowledge of lights, and baking
  • Creating decals
  • Dressing up stuff (vertex paint, decals)

Other requirements:

  • Your portfolio must include outcomes such as various types of environments, level design blockouts
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills,
  • Ability to meet deadlines under schedules
